Rescue Mission: Captives Freed
We live in a broken world. There is no shortage of human misery.  All humanity is or has been in bondage to it and the dark prince who rules it, but Jesus came on a rescue mission to free the enslaved and to restore that which was broken.

    Series: All of Me
Mankind was created with intelligence and reason vastly superior to all other creatures in God's created order.  We are to worship God with all our mind.  This s a distinct marker of the image of God. We are rational beings, able to communicate at the deepest of levels:  Language – Art – Music –Engineering.  It is the mind that provides boundaries for our passions (our heart) plus focus and motivation for our strength.

What is it you want, that you can’t stop thinking about? What is the focus of your daydreams?  What keeps you awake nights?  What dominates your conversations?   What would others say is the driving force of your life?  What is it that you proverbially eat, drink and breathe?  This is what you worship.  This is your heart's desire.  God is the only one worthy of being your heart's desire.
    Mark 12:29-31; Matthew 5:6

Ends of the Earth: Perfect Storm
2020 seems to be the "Perfect Storm" as multiple circumstances and factors have converged to place us in the middle of one of perhaps the most difficult and unsettling of times our lifetime.  It is impacting every facet of our lives at every level.  Most significant are the challenges it has presented to our faith and obedience to Christ.  How are we to respond.  A look into the life of the Apostle Paul will give us a helpful pattern to examine and follow.

Ends of the Earth: What’s Your Story
If you are a Christian you have a story:  a backstory to remember, a present moment to embrace and a next chapter to write.  God intends for us to use that story--all of it--as our testimony to the goodness, mercy and grace of God in our lives.  It is our story of what we have been saved from and what we have been saved to be and do.

Ends of the Earth: Watchman on the Wall
A watchman, guard or warning system is indispensable for the safety of a home, a city, a nation, and even the church.  When danger is imminent, appropriate warnings must be sounded.  Scriptures make it clear, that the failure of a watchman to sound a necessary warning has deep and eternal ramifications.  Each of us, to one degree or another, has been given the responsibility to serve as "watchmen" against grave spiritual danger to those around us.
