Not one of has it all figured out.  Each of us needs loving correction from time to time.   We need to be willing to receive it.  When necessary, we also need to be able to give it.  There is much we can learn from the Evangelist Apollos and his encounter with Aquilla & Priscilla.

Ends of the Earth: In? Yes. Of? No!
When it comes to sharing your faith, or witnessing to another, the love of God and salvation through Christ, we must find the right starting point.  In order to do that we need to have some understanding of the one(s) we are endeavoring to share the gospel with.  Paul’s engagement with the people of Athens is an excellent example of just how to do that.

    Ends of the Earth: Sober-Minded
We live in an “information drunk” culture. With so much access to information and news, it can seem overwhelming. How do we sort through all that we see every day? How do we become “sober-minded”?

    Acts 17:10-15

Ends of the Earth – Freed to Stay
The pathway of obedience to Christ is not always easy and open doors may not always mean what we think they mean.   Paul’s incarceration in a Roman jail in Philippi is an example of how God uses the most difficult of circumstances and conditions to the most glorious of ends.

    Ends of the Earth: Doors
Ministry is not always easy and determining next steps can be a challenge.  How do you know when God closes a door and when He opens one?  There are things we can learn from the Apostle Paul who face the same challenge.

    Acts 16:6-15

Ends of the Earth: Divided but Redeemed
Very few people love conflict.   Not all conflicts can be avoided.   It is most often painful and may lead to new, but divided, directions.  We need to learn how to handle conflict properly and seek to bring God glory through it or as a result of it.

    Acts 15:36-41

    Ends of the Earth: Accountable
Everyone needs accountability.  Even the Apostles needed accountability.  Accountability keeps us on mission and protects us from blind spots and giving in to personal agendas.  At the conclusion of the first missionary journey of Paul and Barnabas, they returned to the church that had sent them (Antioch) to give a report.  They were then called to the mother church in Jerusalem to give a full account of what they were preaching and teaching and give clarity to reports they had received from others.

Ends of the Earth: Toxic Praise
The problem is not a new one.  It can be traced to the Fall of Man.  In a self-absorbed world, where narcissism is rampant, the Christian must always be on guard against receiving, seeking or giving undue praise.
    Acts 14:8-23

Ends of the Earth: First Steps/First Fruits
Evangelism often begins in places of familiarity and persons of peace, but that does not mean the removal of  obstacles and opposition.  The first missionary journey of Paul and Barnabas demonstrates a timeless pattern of evangelism principles we would be wise to pay attention to today.

    Acts 13:3-12

Ends of the Earth: To the Horizon and Beyond
God demonstrates His sovereign wisdom and power in using the first multi-ethnic church on the edge of the  Jewish/Gentile world to be the catalyst for global evangelism.  What made this church so special in fulfilling this command?  How were they uniquely equipped or prepared?
    Acts 11:13-30; 13:1-3
