OVERVIEW
The prayer ministry at HCC has three primary purposes:
- to grow each member's prayer life so they can fully experience the joy of loving God
- to promote prayer as the foundation of a healthy and vibrant church
- to provide intercessory prayer on behalf of the saints.
Members of HCC can participate in prayer through several specific ministries.
GUARDIAN ANGELS
This ministry links a youth with an adult who prays for the welfare of that child on a daily basis.
PRE-WORSHIP PRAYER
This group meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Prayer Room to pray for God's blessing up that day's service and servants.

STAND-IN-THE-GAP
This ministry provides the opportunity for individuals within the congregation to share specific needs which are then lifted up in intercessory prayer every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m.
SPECIAL PRAYER EVENTS
These are often held as various needs arise such as mission trips, special services such as Easter, youth programs or services, etc.
PRAYER CHAINS
these are organized within our congregation and are enacted at times of crisis or special emergency needs.
