ABOUT US
We Are:
– Couldn’t we go back beyond denominationalism to the simplicity and purity of the first-century church? Wouldn’t that bring unity among followers of Christ?
These men were really “ahead of their time,” believing that nothing should be required of Believers except what is clear in the Scriptures. Those who shared those ideals grew in unprecedented numbers and became known as the “Restoration Movement” – seeking to “restore” the church seen in the Bible. We identify with this movement.
We do not consider ourselves a denomination. We are simply members of the Church that Jesus established and for which He died. We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and that the New Testament is the authority in our day and time. We are certainly not the only Christians but we do seek to be Christians only.
What We Believe
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every Christian (John 16:5-15).
We believe that the church is the body and bride of Christ, comprised of all Christians everywhere, with a three-fold mission to:
1) evangelize the world
2) make disciples of Christ
3) equip others for ministry
(Matthew 16:13-18, John 6:47, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:14-47, Romans 8:10-11, Ephesians 4:11-16).
We believe that death seals the eternal destiny of each person. The saved will inherit eternal life; the unsaved, eternal separation from God (Romans 8:10-11, Daniel 12:2, John 6:47).
We believe that salvation (the forgiveness of sins) comes by grace through faith in the completed work of Christ on our behalf through His blood (His death on the cross). Salvation is a free gift from God and includes an immediate restoration of a person’s relationship with Him, and through yielding to the Holy Spirit, a lifetime of continuing transformation of that person’s character into the image and likeness of Christ (Matthew 26:28, Acts 16:30-31, Romans 5:8-11, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Philippians 1:6).
We believe the pattern the Bible teaches to receive Jesus as Savior is to believe in Christ as God’s Son and Savior of the world, to repent of personal sin, to confess Christ as Lord, and to be immersed in baptism (Luke 24:45-47, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-7, 2 Peter 3:9).

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humor, or randomized words which don’t look even slightly believable. This one is for an amazing website template for churches around the world.
